As you plan your next corporate event, it might be a good idea to take a motivational speaker off the agenda. Speakers are great for entertaining the crowd and giving them something to think about. However, there is more to entertainment than these guests. Give your next corporate event a refresher and a reboot with a unique entertainment option.

Escape Room

An escape room is a great entertainment option for corporate events. Escape rooms are a new phenomenon that requires the participants in the room to find and apply clues to either escape from the room or solve a puzzle. 

Not only is the activity enjoyable, but it's also an excellent team-building exercise, as it requires every participant in the room to work together toward the same goal. Hire a company to set up a few of these rooms in your event space, and divide your attendees into teams of colleagues, such as coworkers from the same department. 

Impersonators or Cover Bands

A great company event is one that provides multiple forms of entertainment. If you have a reception, a mixer, or another laid back event, consider hiring an impersonator or cover band to entertain everyone. Impersonators are great sources of entertainment because they are all about fun. 

To make their performance even more special, tell the performer a little bit about the company. The performer might be able to perform certain songs if they have a special meaning to your company or tell jokes that have a special meaning to the group. Do a quick scan of your attendees and choose a celebrity impersonator or cover band that will most likely be appealing to the vast majority of people. 

Virtual Reality

All adults have a playful kid living inside of them. Instead of a boring and stuffy conference or event, bring some laughter and fun into the atmosphere with a virtual reality station. With this form of augmented reality, you wear a pair of special goggles that bring the display up close and personal, for a life-like view.

With virtual reality, you can experience everything from a roller coaster ride to a battle, from a real-life perspective. As this station will probably be quite popular, if you have a large number of attendees at the event, you might want to consider keeping these stations open the entire time.
